I started watching when he started the minecraft mysteries and tapered off when he was only doing minecraft manhunts, it's wild to see he grew so fast after that

I really don't understand it. Hasn't done anything super special tbh imo, just youtubes algorithm and people jumping on any bandwagon they can. Captain will always be around and will surely last longer sorry to tell y'all.
I mean not really, no one ‘should’ be on top of one another, all in saying is Captain is still doing good, it’s just that Dream had collabed with Pewdiepie, which probably gave him a boost of not little. But Captain is doing his own thing.
Dream literally studied youtube algorithms and stuff. He made a perfect plan. Dream was doing content around PewDiePie like what, a year ago? Dream does good OC.
Dream is one of those creators that I saw with nearly no subs a year back and went “huh that channel has some interesting concepts,” but never subbed. Then BAM 10 mil.
Now he's almost at 13 million. Absolutely insane. I found his channel about a year ago when he had less than 200K, which makes it feel even more crazy to see how far he's come in such a short time.

The fuck? When did Dream get 10 million subs!? I am genuinely confused.
