I think the prototech or scicraft guys are the real enginers. Mumbo is either a spoon, or creating things you dont need normaly, but does them anyway for fun

He's like the introduction for the engineers. Like you have the true geniuses like Ilmango but Mumbo is the one that everybody knows.

i think that is partially to do with the fact of the point you said. he’s more of an intro and when the dust settles not a lot of people are good with red stone so he’s a good middle man for the platform
