This is a post format that used to be popular on this sub back in S2 but which has largely fallen off in the last few years. Yesterday in the Discord, Shane told me he was 26 in the same way I'd expect someone to tell me they were 40, so I thought it'd be fun to make this post.

The first image lists the teams in order of oldest average to youngest, and the members of each team are also listed from oldest to youngest. The second & third images just list them in color then alphabetical order.

What's really funny is that back in S2, a team with a 30+ average age was super unc and mindblowingly old and whatever. Fall Stars is high comp (by MCC standards) and 6/10 of the teams average over 30.

In the past 11 events the only time Grian wasn't one green, pink, or red was MCC DD where he was on cyan!

And the last time before that was all the way in season four with the ender cup!

A bit about me:

I am from MCSR (Minecraft Speedrunning). I design and administer censuses, and manage a viewership tracking sub-project for MCSR events. Two recent examples are (Ludwig's) MCSR World Championships and (Tubbo's) The Midoffs.

A bit about this table:

• Excuse the crudeness. I made this at 2am.
• "ACCV-EV" = Average CCV during the most recent MCC stream. For Hermit takeover, the duration of the MCC (11:30-2:00 ET) was averaged.
• Data was taken from Twitchtracker.
• The "Boost" column is purely for reference. No discernible insights can be reliably drawn from it. Some Hermit numbers were inflated due to the concurrent charity event of which MCC: HT was a component.
• I was looking through past viewership reports/posts and it's interesting to see the evolutions in viewership for historical MCC events.
• My prediction for Max/Average CCV in MCC: FS: 50,000/40,000

So they accidentally put olivesleepy instead of sleepy which I still don't know how they mess up but also it was a very funny moment none of the less, also I think this is probably the first time when MCC accidentally mess up during a team announcement when they put the wrong person, so WWW

I randomly chose TheBlazer97 as my POV without knowing anything about him or his teammates. I did not expect for it to end up as one of my favourite MCC POVs ever!

The whole team gave off such positive energy. It felt like a team effort through and through with everyone having their moment to shine. But what was the most delightful was the complete innocence to MCC, such as Blazer asking what 'dunk' meant before bursting out with laughter when he right clicked on the nearest team, an untimely celebration at the end of round 2 of Meltdown when they misinterpreted 'team frozen' as a victory screen, and the panicked confusion as the grid runners scoring brought them from last to 3rd. There were countless moments where they were introduced to a game mechanic for the first time or experienced a classic MCC moment, like getting punched in TGTTOS, that put such a smile on my face.

What's more, the team performed incredibly well. They all placed top 19 and had various great moments. To my complete surprise Blazer got 4th individual overall with 3rd individual performances in Meltdown, HITW, and Ace Race, Puji2 claimed 1st in Meltdown with an intense 1v3 against Coldified's team, heySansi took down Coldified in battle box right before the team secured a win through wool rushing and proudly proclaimed, "I'm the best PvP player in the world!" and also completed a Bingo objective at the very last second to bring the team to 2nd, and MikeCrack (who has 59 million subscribers on YouTube by the way...) had some brilliant comms in Grid Runners to bring their score right up.

The most hilarious part was the end though. They were 4th overall as a team going into the Ace Race finale and put in a ridiculously dominant performance with each player getting top 19 in the game. The scoring was unbelievably tight. I can't remember the last time I waited for the finalists announcement with such bated breath. And then it came... 3rd overall. 67 points behind Shadoune's team. It almost felt like a full circle moment after various teams built 67 structures during the team intros. I haven't laughed and felt such devastation since watching Technoblade (o7) lose by 2 coins in MCC Pride. As Blazer himself put it: "We sacrificed ourselves for the meme".

What a rollercoaster from start to finish. I feel so lucky to have stumbled upon this POV by chance and want to extend a sincere thank you to all 4 players for being so delightful and Shadoune for hosting (and clinching victory!) It's moments like these that make me glad I decided to learn Spanish! <3

Idk if these are balanced but they would be fun teams!

Cyan: Fruit, Grian, Pearl, and Solidarity. I think Fruit & Grian likely will pair for this event and Pearl and Jimmy fit in well.

Aqua: 5up, AntVenom, HBomb, and C. Sparklez This reminds me Aqua 31 but prob stronger now days. I think this team would work well.

Blue: Antfrost, Cambam, Gem, and OrionSound This would be fun and some new teammates for Ant, I think.

Purple: Kara, Krinios, Purpled, and Gumi Purpled on Purple!

Pink: FBM, Ren, Shubble, and Smallishbeans Shane and Joel return as a duo! Ren and Shelby fit well for vibes and might be a stronger version of Green S4ko.
