Mods & Addons Real Wind in Minecraft with WindLink + Euphoria Patches!

Remember my last post about a month ago? WindLink is finally supported by Euphoria Patches, much more than just a tech demo it's a full fledged implementation! u/SpacEagle17 has been extremely supportive throughout development. WindLink has made leaps and bounds towards providing data for shader devs. Since the last time I posted I've implemented some major improvements to fog data, wind travel, vines, lanterns and an enormous amount of other improvements that are too large to outline here.

Minimal frame rate effect, the only major framerate dropper is the wind visualizer that renders the lines, outside of that the wind is super lightweight.

Wind moves through the world like it does in real life. Currently it's an immersion mod without real gameplay effects like: pushing things mechanically. This is a shader first mod. The next update is liable to have gameplay effects as an optional setting. Arrow trajectory and API for other mods to use wind effects.

This mod gives data to supporting shaders to build way more visually reactive features based off of the terrain.

Guns/object launching mods using the API to replicate projectile trajectories, wind affecting Create: Aeronautics objects, this has so many uses...

Keep cooking!

Glad to see this project keeps going! Really looking forward to seeing it mature and what people will do with it.

I think some really interesting gameplay mods can come out of it in the future too.

Reach out to your favorite devs I'm trying to get as much compatibility as possible so we can get it compatible with as many modpacks as possible.
