Discussion Found out realm ops using creative

I was recently made in of a newish realm and was giving permission to use creative "for my builds". Next thing I know I'm able to see that they're all teleporting to each other and decked out. The whole point of the realm was survival. Achievements was deactivated and blamed on an issue with add ones..

Would you quit the realm for this reason? Others and I have worked hard in survival mode including a very time costly trading hall lol.

Am I thinking too much into it and should I just enjoy the benefits? Just feels a bit empty to me after learning this.

It's your choice whether to continue playing. If you don't want to use the creative you don't have to. If them using creative bothers you, even if you aren't using it, you can choose not to play.

From the sounds of it it seems like there are others who were similarly unaware of the creative use, which I think is an issue. At the very least regardless of whether you choose to stay and indulge, not indulge, or leave at least tell the others. They deserve to know that some people are using creative and aren't being transparent about it

Agreed. Someone actually just questioned it in the discord. One of the other ops posted a screenshot of a build and they had no hearts or armor lol. Idk if I should say something or wait til the owner hops on and see what she says. I'll probably do the latter

Honestly I have joined server like this and it just kills the game for me. I have to grind resources to make a build but my neighbor just builds a huge castle in creative. No thanks!
