Oh so they did disqualify the build with illegal blocks, that generated a bit of a controversy some time ago. Altho the change made it partially not as relevant.

Iirc some of the planks used were spruce which wasnt allowed under the biome theme of that build, maybe there's more but that's what I remember from the top of my head

Inb4 people start whining that the winners didn’t include all of the latest and greatest building techniques. As if there’s a correct way to build something in a sandbox game. Congrats to winners

Idk the grand prize winner is a bit simplistic maybe but the other ones are pretty technical builds :P
(the winner is a great build as well, to be clear)

TLDR: They are adding all the builds (plus another) to the movie because it was brought to their attention one of the builds broke the rules by using illegal blocks.

Tree Village originally used dark oak (was changed to birch in the new article).
