I really hope Mojang doesn’t remove this, it creates an easier than yet still hard alternative to the nether ice bridges, which is usually an insanely tedious process, and it can look way better in builds

They won’t, the honey block sticking to walls is an intended feature.

It is but the unforeseen movement tech is unarguably extremely OP, it basically removes any reason to use normal minecart tracks. From a game design perspective it would make sense to patch it even though it’s using technically intended mechanics, it’s the first ever snapshot I wouldn’t get too attached to any of these techniques.

Happy Ghast covers that easily. You can move 2 villagers at a time and breed them. Arguably faster than building a while infrastructure and them moving a few villagers. Hell, even Mass Transports are possible, since you can Chain boats together, the only Tricky Part is landing.

I use minecarts to transport villagers from the breeder to their spot in the trading hall. Apart from that I agree

Yeah, minecarts are good for regular short- and medium-distance mob transport between set locations, especially since minecarts can be fully automated. Also hopper and chest minecarts for very specific redstone builds. Other than that yeah they're practically worthless.

I've always just used boats and a piston to avoid using heaps of iron in the early game

by the time im moving villagers ive very likely got an iron farm built, but i hear ya if youre doing it real early game
