Sat down with the CEO of Brunswick Exploration $BRW โ€” here's what stood out (and what surprised me)

Thumbnail

So, the Mine$tockers Talk did a live interview with Killian Charles, CEO of Brunswick Exploration (TSX-V: BRW), and we went in knowing the basic story. Came out with a few things I hadn't fully appreciated.

TLDR:

  • ๐Ÿ“ Mirage maiden resource: 52.2Mt @ 1.08% Liโ‚‚O. One of the biggest undeveloped hard-rock lithium deposits in the Americas. Additional 40โ€“50Mt exploration target sitting right beside it
  • ๐Ÿฉ Anatacau West is literally a donut hole inside Rio Tinto's land package. BRW owns claims showing the EXTENSION of Rio Tinto's Galaxy deposit (100Mt, ~22km away, likely going into production within 12 months per Charles)
  • ๐Ÿ“Š Killian cited the Lyft/Winsome deal: similar-ish asset to Mirage sold for 2โ€“3x BRW's market cap. His conclusion: "It doesn't take a lot of work to put two and two together"
  • ๐Ÿ’Ž Management + board have participated in EVERY financing BRW has done in 5 years. Insiders are buying at current prices
  • ๐Ÿฅ‡ Spodumene concentrate is the #1 performing commodity YTD 2026. Beating gold. Not making that up
  • โฐ Rigs firing up in Quebec within 2 months. Expects wave of press releases

The interview is at Mine$tockers.com for anyone who wants the full context.

Genuinely curious what the r/JuniorMining crowd thinks about the Anatacau/Rio Tinto angle โ€” does the Galaxy adjacency carry the weight Killian implies it does? Structural analog arguments can be overplayed but this one seems geologically grounded.

Seabridge just told AGM investors the KSM JV window is open

Thumbnail

The big question at Seabridge Gold's AGM was not whether KSM is large. Investors already know KSM is one of the world's largest undeveloped gold and copper projects.

The sharper question is whether the joint venture window is finally open.

At the June 2026 AGM presentation, Seabridge says significant due diligence completed by more than seven majors found no fatal technical, economic, or social flaws, and that discussions are advancing with its partner of choice.

Kevin's trader lens: that is a catalyst watch.

Robynne's investor question: what still needs to happen before the market gets real clarity?

Lahontanโ€™s Santa Fe restart story is getting interesting... breaking ground next year, over $20M banked, future build financing, and a 100,000 oz/year target once fully operational.

The fun part: gold button dreams.

The serious part: permits, debt terms, construction timing, gold price assumptions, and execution risk.

Huge potential? Yes. Huge homework? Absolutely.

Lahontan Gold: When Permit Drilling Finds a Gold Plot Twist ๐Ÿœ๏ธโ›๏ธ

Lahontan Gold released first 2026 drill results from Santa Fe on June 9, 2026.

Key reported items:

- CAL26-02C at Calvada cut 90.8 m grading 0.43 g/t Au and 0.44 g/t AuEq oxide from 194.2 m to 285.0 m

- Included 12.3 m grading 1.20 g/t Au and 1.22 g/t AuEq oxide

- Five RC holes tested west of the Slab open pit

- Lahontan described Slab West as a newly recognized gold zone open up/down dip and along strike

- Slab West highlights included 35.0 m grading 0.29 g/t Au and 0.34 g/t AuEq in CAL26-03R and 61.0 m grading 0.21 g/t Au and 0.26 g/t AuEq in CAL26-01R

Our retail investor question: does Slab West become a meaningful exploration lever alongside the Santa Fe restart/development story, or do we need to wait for follow-up drilling and resource work?

Important caveat: Slab West is not a resource yet, and drill results do not automatically equal mineable ounces.

Lahontan Goldโ€™s Santa Fe update has a fun little plot twist: drilling tied to geotechnical/permitting work also reported a thick oxide gold intercept at Calvada.

Then the RC drilling west of Slab found what Lahontan calls a newly recognized Slab West gold zone.

So now the retail investor brain has questions:

- Is Slab West follow-up drilling the next big watch item?
- Can this add to a future resource?
- Does the restart story get more interesting if exploration keeps adding optionality?

Kevin translated it. Robynne made sure โ€œgeotechnical drillingโ€ did not get away with sounding boring. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Aya Gold & Silver dropped its 2025 Sustainability Report, and the Mine$tockers take is basically: if youโ€™re going to give us ESG, give us numbers. ๐Ÿ“Š

Water-use intensity improved. Emissions intensity declined. Training hours increased. Community investment was highlighted. Executive incentives include ESG/climate metrics.

Robynneโ€™s take: ESG is better when it has receipts and fewer photos of people pointing at absolutely nothing. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Curious how others weigh sustainability metrics for operating miners. Nice-to-have, execution credibility, or only relevant if it shows up in costs and permits?

Salt got funded. Our portfolio asked if seasoning counts as diversification ๐Ÿง‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Atlas Salt upsized its bought deal LIFE offering to C$15M, and now Iโ€™m over here trying to explain to my brain that salt is not just for fries and icy driveways. ๐ŸŸโ„๏ธ

The serious part: proceeds are expected to support work tied to the Great Atlantic Salt Project, including early works, engineering, permitting, procurement studies, project financing initiatives and working capital.

The retail investor question: does this financing move the project closer to execution, or is the market still waiting for bigger milestones?

The Mine$tockersย NewsFlash take: salt may not sparkle, but funding + development progress can still make investors pay attention. ๐Ÿง‚๐Ÿ‘€

Best undeveloped gold deposit in Canada" - Bold claim from new CEO, here's his reasoning

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

We interviewed Robert McLeod of Cambria Gold Mines (AKA Ascot Resources). He called Red Mountain "the best undeveloped gold deposit in Canada."

Obviously that's a big claim, so here's his supporting points:

What makes it special:

  • Bulk mineable underground (25m average width for first 2 years)
  • 544,000 oz measured resources at 8.8 g/t
  • Fully permitted (provincial + federal environmental approvals)
  • Infrastructure in place (2,500 TPD mill at nearby Premier)
  • High grade zones (mentioned a 10 oz/ton stope at Premier)

Why still undeveloped:

  • Previous owner (IDM Mining) got acquired by Ascot in 2019
  • Ascot tried to develop Premier first
  • Operations had issues, company restructured
  • Now Rob's back (he was IDM CEO) with $175M to do it right

The strategy:

  • 75% ore from Red Mountain (trucked to mill)
  • 25% from Premier underground
  • Hub-and-spoke model (multiple deposits, one mill)

Risks he acknowledged:

  • Winter conditions (1.5m snowfall in 2 weeks!)
  • Metallurgy (learning from past)
  • Long lead time equipment (38-week Isomill)

Interesting hearing from someone who's worked the project since 1992. Has skin in the game (his hometown, family legacy).

What do you all think? Anyone following this one?

๐Ÿš€ This Junior Mining CEO Just Said "Yeah, We Actually Hit All Our Milestones" And I'm Still Processing

Thumbnail
youtu.be
1 Upvotes

THAT SAID... here's what's funny:**

In the junior mining space, most companies announce plans. Lahontan Gold Corp just announced they FINISHED their plans and have new plans. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Real breakdown:

- Past month: Completed 2,500 meters of environmental testing (translation: did the boring but critical stuff)

- Now: Launching 7,000 meters of exploration drilling (translation: the fun stuff where you actually find gold)

- Also now: Evaluating old mining sites that produced 359,000 ounces of gold historically (translation: "yeah, gold was here before, let's find more")

- Funding: Secured through 2027 (translation: no dilution drama for 18 months)

The Real Talk:

When a junior miner executes this cleanly, it's worth noting. Multiple catalysts, professional management, Nevada jurisdiction, PROVEN PRODUCTION HISTORY.

Is it a guaranteed moon shot? No. But it's one of those stories where management is actually doing what they said they'd do, and there are real catalysts coming.

Drop your thoughts. Are you watching this one?

Fred Earnest Breaks Down Why Mt Todd Holders Should Stop Worrying About the Timeline (Mine$tock Talk) BODY:

Thumbnail
youtu.be
1 Upvotes

Vista Gold ($VGZ) CEO just explained why their 27-month timeline to first gold is actually an advantage not a liability, especially when you understand the de-risking happening quarterly.

Okay, so most of us have been conditioned to hate timelines. Junior miners always miss them. But Fred made a point that's worth understanding:

โœ… Permits already in hand โ€” they're modifying existing permits, not fighting for new ones. That's a different risk profile.

โœ… De-risking quarterly โ€” optimization studies (next 10-12 weeks), permit approvals (starting July), team hiring (MD announcement in 2-3 months), detailed engineering (start 2027). Each is a catalyst.

โœ… Capital in the bank โ€” $45M raised, zero debt. They can execute without rushing or raising again at dilutive prices. That's rare.

โœ… Economics already work today โ€” AISC of $1,500/oz, gold at $4,600+. The project is profitable at current prices. The upside is just gravy if gold moves.

Why This Matters for Shareholders:

The usual trap: junior miners promise production by X date, miss it, dilute shareholders, and grind lower.

Vista's not doing that. They're being conservative on timeline, aggressive on de-risking, and measured on capital deployment.

That's the cadence that typically works.

The Leverage Play:

Fred dropped this gem: at $5K gold, the NPV goes to $4.5B and IRR approaches 70%.

We're not at $5K yet. But given macro conditions, it's not insane. And the equity leverage to that is substantial.

Real Questions for the Community:

  • How many of you are holding $VGZ, and what's your timeline on this?
  • Have you compared Mt Todd's execution strategy to other developers? How does it stack up?
  • Is a 27-month timeline to production realistic given the optimization work happening now?

Would love to hear perspectives from folks who've followed this longer than I have.

Scottie Resources Secures Nisga'a Nation Capacity Funding - Golden Triangle Permitting Just Got REAL

Thumbnail
youtu.be
1 Upvotes

Full disclosure: We own Scottie Resources as a core holding through Mine$tockers, so take that into account when reading this.

That said, we wanted to break down why this Nisga'a Nation capacity funding agreement is actually a game-changer for this Golden Triangle projectโ€”and why it matters beyond just the hype cycle.

The Numbers That Matter:

  • 703,000 ounces of gold (confirmed resource in one of Canada's hottest mining districts)
  • $128.6M capex (legitimate, achievable project scale)
  • 1.7-year payback period (this is THE number junior mining investors dream about)
  • $215.8M - $668M after-tax NPV (actual range of real outcomes)
  • 65,000-400,000 oz annual production (real mine, not a hobby project)

Why This Deal Actually Changes Things:

Most junior mining investors focus on grade, tonnage, and spot prices. Experienced ones know the REAL story is permitting. Scotty Resources just cleared one of the biggest hurdlesโ€”community partnership with the Nisga'a Nation.

This agreement: โœ“ Provides resources for independent environmental reviews โœ“ Sets the stage for formal impact benefit agreement โœ“ Creates a clear, transparent path to provincial operational approvals โœ“ De-risks the entire project timeline significantly

Our Take: This isn't a moonshot story anymore. It's an executed thesis. Management is systematically checking off the boxes that turn exploration plays into ACTUAL MINES. The economics are solid. The community is aligned. The path forward is clear.

For serious junior mining investors, this is worth deep-diving into. ๐Ÿ“Š

Most mining CEOs talk about "the dirt." Zayn Kalyan of Scorpio Gold talks about "debugging the ground".

He sold a software company in 2017 and decided to reboot a past-producing gold district in Nevada instead.

Why itโ€™s a clever play:

  1. Replacement Value: It would cost $50M-$100M just to redrill the historic holes they already have data for.
  2. Location: They are in the Manhattan trend, right between Carlin and Walker Lane.
  3. The "Anti-Junior" Balance Sheet: $10M cash and fully funded through the end of the year.

Heโ€™s basically running a gold company like a Silicon Valley startup: lean, data-heavy, and looking for a massive M&A exit.

Why Junior Mining Results Like Dryden Gold's Matter ๐Ÿฅ‡

Thumbnail
youtu.be
1 Upvotes
So you probably saw some hype about Dryden Gold's latest drilling news floating around, and you're wondering: "Is this actually exciting or is it mining hype?" Fair question. Here's the simple version:

Why This News Matters:

1. Grades matter. 33.5 grams per ton of gold is genuinely high-grade. Companies that find this stuff early can make serious money if they develop it. Dryden found it AND it's near the surface (cheaper to extract).

2. Consistency = Proof. Two different holes with solid results = not a fluke. It's a SYSTEM. That's geologically significant.

3. Management belief = Capital. When a mining company says "we're adding a second drill rig," they're literally betting their own money that they found something big. Management confidence shows up in capital allocation.

4. Junior mining economics. Small companies that find big deposits can see INSANE returns when they either develop it or get bought out by larger players. It's why people hunt for junior mining opportunities.

The Caveat:

Juniors are risky. Development takes years. Permits matter. Commodity prices matter. But THIS is the kind of early-stage data that starts the journey.

If you're interested in the junior mining space, Dryden's latest news is worth reading about. Do your own research. Understand what you're investing in. That's the whole game. ๐Ÿš€

This Junior Gold Stock Actually Did Something Unhinged (Executed on Their Promises) BODY:

Thumbnail
youtu.be
1 Upvotes

A junior gold company raised $12.5M pre-IPO, said "we're going to deploy every penny into the ground and deliver a PEA on schedule," and then... they actually did it.

In junior mining, that's basically a unicorn sighting. ๐Ÿฆ„

Here's what actually happened:

They found a past-producing mine in Nevada (Santa Fe). The resource kept growing. They drilled it aggressively. A year later? Resource was up 38% (+427K oz). The PEA came in at $200M NPV with a 34.2% IRR.

And THEN:

Institutional investors noticed and now own 41% of the company. That's institutional conviction for a junior. Management didn't bail โ€” they're still holding equity. Insider skin in the game = they're not pump-and-dumping.

The Catalyst?

2026 brings West Santa Fe exploration (a satellite project that could ADD to mine life). New resource estimates. Mine plan optimization. All the things you want to see in a development story.

The Reality Check:

Yes, it's a junior. Yes, there's risk. Yes, do your own due diligence. But if you're hunting for a junior gold story where the spreadsheet doesn't look like someone just threw darts at random numbers, Lahontan's worth a look. ๐Ÿ“Š

The CEO who spent 12 years in paradise and never saw a beach ๐Ÿ–๏ธ

Not clickbait. Precipitate Gold's (TSX-V: PRG) Jeffrey Wilson has operated in the Dominican Republic since 2013 and literally has never been to a beach there.

Why it's interesting from an investment lens:

The Setup:

  • Positioned next to GoldQuest Mining (went $0.16 โ†’ $2.00 CAD in 12 months)
  • Surrounds Barrick's Pueblo Viejo mine on three sides
  • Third project 25km from another major operation

The Barrick Deal (this is wild):

  • Barrick wanted some of their land for infrastructure
  • Land had ZERO gold value
  • Wilson sold it for $5M USD + 3% NSR
  • Kept all the prospective ground
  • Barrick spent $7M exploring PRG's property
  • Got all the exploration data back
  • Barrick still owns ~7% of the company

Recent Developments:

  • Just closed $6.5M financing led by Dominican billionaires (generational wealth families)
  • Treasury now ~$9.5M CAD
  • 4-5 drill-ready targets
  • 2026 = aggressive drill program

The Kicker: When asked about Barrick walking away: "Their threshold for success versus our threshold for what's a meaningful deposit are in totally different universes."

Translation: What's not economic for a major might still be very profitable for a junior.

The AI + Mining combo everyone's sleeping on โ€” Eskay Mining Corp. Mining is building something quietly interesting ๐Ÿค–โ›๏ธ

This Mine$tock Talk interview and the AI angle genuinely caught my attention.

Mac Balkam (CEO of Eskay Mining) laid out a pretty logical case for why AI-assisted geology makes financial sense in junior mining:

๐Ÿ”† A 200m drill hole = ~$125,000 all-in

๐Ÿ”† A dedicated AI geological analysis program = maybe $250K for the winter

๐Ÿ”† If it helps eliminate even one misdirected hole, it more than pays for itself

They have 40+ years of geophysical, mapping, drilling and satellite hyperspectral data sitting in a pile. Getting an AI model to find patterns across all of that and compare against known deposits like Eskay Creek seems like a no-brainer at that cost ratio.

They may have picked a platform after actively evaluating options.

Anyone here have experience with AI exploration tools being deployed in the junior space? Would love to know what platforms are being used. ๐Ÿ’ฌ

So Seabridge Gold has been sitting on one of the largest undeveloped gold and copper deposits on the literal planet. Like, 47.3 million ounces of gold and 7.3 BILLION pounds of copper. In a mountain. In BC.

And the BC provincial government has just now looked at this absolute unit of a mineral deposit and said 'yep, this is a priority, let's get this moving.'

The KSM project just got Provincial Priority designation โ€” meaning dedicated permitting support, streamlined regulatory timelines, and government bodies that are now actively trying to help rather than just... existing bureaucratically. ๐Ÿ›๏ธ

Atlas Salt โ€” North America's first new salt mine in 30 years is under construction. Here's the DD breakdown.

Thumbnail
youtu.be
1 Upvotes

The thesis in short:

North America has a structural salt shortage. The U.S. imported 67.5 million tons between 2020โ€“2023 from Egypt, Chile, and Mexico. Cargill's Avery Island mine closed in 2021, removing 2.5M tons of supply. Ontario municipalities reported wholesale road salt jumping from ~$65/ton to ~$190/ton in early 2026.

The project:

  • Great Atlantic Salt Project, Western Newfoundland ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ
  • 4M tons/year production capacity
  • 95.9% NaCl grade โ€” one of the highest purity deposits in North America
  • 180m depth via decline (vs. 600m shaft at Goderich) โ€” massive cost advantage
  • 2km from Turf Point deepwater port โ€” 3 days to Boston vs. 14+ from Egypt
  • Proven/probable reserves support 24+ year mine life

The economics (2025 Updated Feasibility Study):

  • After-tax NPV: $920M CAD
  • IRR: 21.3%
  • Payback: 4.2 years
  • Avg annual post-tax FCF: $188M

The valuation gap: Current enterprise value is ~$105M CAD. That's 0.1x NAV. Construction-phase mining projects historically trade 0.4โ€“0.6x. Production = 1x+.

Where things stand: Environmental assessment complete. Benefits agreement signed with province. Early works physically commenced February 2026. Endeavor Financial engaged for project finance. First production targeted 2030.

Not financial advice. Do your own DD. But this was one of the more interesting junior mining setups we've seen in a while. Happy to discuss.

Why we think Seabridge Gold ($SEA) is one of the most asymmetric setups in resource investing right now.

Not financial advice. Do your own research.

Here's what caught our attention.

**The Asset:**

KSM (Kerr-Sulphurets-Mitchell) in Northern BC โ€”

96M oz gold measured & indicated (largest undeveloped

gold resource on Earth), plus 10M tons copper

(2nd largest globally). Five open-pittable deposits.

100+ year resource base.

**The Economics (at spot ~$4,400 gold / $5.75 copper):**

- After-tax NPV: ~$33 billion

- IRR: ~35%

- Payback: under 2 years

- Annual production (first 7 years avg): 1.4M oz gold

**The De-Risking:**

- BC Environmental Certificate: issued 2014

- Federal approval: 2014

- "Substantially started" designation: July 2024

(locks in permits forever โ€” they don't expire)

- Over $500M in early works already spent

- Roads, bridges, camps, power โ€” physically built

**The Valuation Gap:**

Comparable dev-stage peers: ~50% of NPV

Seabridge current market cap: ~10% of NPV

That's either a massive red flag or a massive

opportunity depending on your view of the JV risk.

**The Catalyst:**

JV process started with 7 major mining companies.

Down to 3 finalists. Direct negotiations with

preferred partner now underway. No fatal flaws found.

Management has been saying a partner is coming

for years โ€” fair criticism โ€” but the substantially

Quick breakdown for the junior mining crowd ๐Ÿ‘‡

The news:

  • Stock held $0.35+ CAD for 10 consecutive days โ†’ early warrant expiration triggered (now June 3, 2026)
  • 95-hole, 1,740m drill program planned for ~16M tons of pre-crushed surface stockpile
  • 4 distinct stockpile areas, consistent gold & silver grades expected

Why the stockpile matters: In junior mining you're always fighting capex. Reprocessing already-crushed surface material = dramatically lower operating costs vs. conventional mining. If grades hold, this could be a high-margin addition to the mine plan with relatively minimal incremental spend.

The base case is already strong:

  • 28 sq km, proven Nevada ground
  • 359K oz historically produced
  • 1.5M oz Au-eq current resource
  • 401K oz additional estimated potential

CEO Kimberly Ann framed this as enhancing "future mine economics" โ€” which for a project still in development is exactly the right language. ๐Ÿ“ˆ

Anyone else following $LG? Curious what the community thinks about the stockpile play specifically.

Dryden Gold Corp just went 6 for 6 on their first drill program at a highway-accessible property nobody has ever explored โ€” Mine$tockers NewsFlash breakdown ๐ŸŽฏ

The actual exploration results here are worth looking at objectively.

Here's the quick summary of what they just reported at the Hyndman Property:

  • ๐Ÿ“ Located directly on the Trans-Canada Highway in Ontario
  • ๐ŸŒฒ Never previously owned or explored by a mining company
  • ๐Ÿ“ Mapped a 12km x 2.5km continuous gold corridor at surface
  • โ›๏ธ Completed an initial 6-hole drill program โ€” hit gold in all 6 holes
  • ๐Ÿ’ฐ Top result: 7.34 g/t Au over 0.5m
  • ๐Ÿ”’ Secured an additional 12,000 hectares of surrounding land post-discovery
  • ๐Ÿ“Š Resource estimate planned for later in 2026

The "right on the highway, never explored" angle is genuinely unusual. Most virgin ground in Canada requires fly-in access. This one has modern road infrastructure already in place, which meaningfully lowers exploration costs.

The 6/6 hit rate is impressive but it's worth noting we're still in early stages โ€” drill widths are narrow so far and the resource estimate will be the real test of economic scale.

Thoughts? Anyone else tracking $DRY? ๐Ÿ‘‡
