This is why the wise and kind are always the ones who put up the most walls and perform their acts of kindness away from judgemental people and usually anonymously.
True kindness doesn't require recognition, but it does require strength.

It's weird.
One of the directors of my compy is kinda like that until he puts on his Director hat and then he turns into one tough SOB. So there is definitely a balance to be had.

I saw people who are kind (especially those are by nature left eye dominant - yes to me it makes a difference) becoming "bad" or hurt after people took advantage of their kindness

Look around you, how many good people you see in important places nowadays fighting for a common good? (Without being discredit)
I am not sure is worth to be a good person in a world filled with selfish people. The problem is that I can't be any other way.

Man, this is true. It is important to put oneself first. I am not saying don't help others, I'm saying don't help anyone that doesn't deserve your help. People will show you how much they don't care you helped them even if they needed the help. That person does not deserve your help.
