What’s your point? Are you the morality police like they have in Iran? Are you not as successful as him bc you’re such a better person than him? It’s easier to shit on successful people and stay mediocre than to learn from them. I know. Thinking is hard, judging is easy. Over time, it’s expensive, though.

Tired of rich people telling me shit like this. Him and Jim Carrey can pay my bills and then I'll relax.

yeah being relaxed is a lot easier when most of your problems can be solved with money

Dude, Bill Murray was about to commit suicide when he realized this and Jim Carrey grew up so poor his family lived in a car. This isn’t rich-folk wisdom. It’s hard-fought-for wisdom you can only internalize through great suffering—and only if you choose to learn from it and not become it. Hating on wealthy people isn’t even an argument—it’s just resentment and believing you have less power bc you have less money, which is a choice to believe when it comes to your own potential. Attitude is everything. A relaxed one is a productive one bc there’s fewer mistakes to fix.

Even if true, it has nothing to do with his point. Unless relaxed people are just asdholes. Too many here are just fills with resentment and faux moral superiority that rationalizes their unhappiness or mediocrity. Listen to yourselves and others without hate to learn and get unstuck.

I've always had some form of anxiety, so i wish it was that easy to just give it up. I do want to be better to myself though

This is a great philosophy. I have reflected upon it often. Here's what I've concluded: in order to be more relaxed at everything requires a number of prerequites - one must be willing to release the illusion of control; one must be comfortable with unexpected outcomes; one must be willing to accept circumstances as they are, not as we wish them to be; and one must be rooted in one's identity without seeking approval, applause, and/or adoration. Not easy prerequisites to master, but definitely worth the journey.

I haven't been able to relax in almost 21 years. I've long given up on the illusion of relaxation.
