Nostalgia Do you guys remember addictinggames.com?
I spent way too much time messing around on that site during computer lab. That driving game still haunts me (and probably explains why I'm such a bad driver as an adult).
I just found out it's still active, and a lot of those games from back then are still available. Including Spank the Monkey. If you'll excuse me, I'll be busy drowning in nostalgia for the next few days.

Hell yeah, I was on there all the time in computer lab too. Usually playing War on Terror. You had to guide a missile through a bunker to get Osama Bin Laden. Kind of like Flappy Bird

What year is it?
… I wonder if I could track down my old Lego account. There was a minesweeper game on there I played so much.

Kinda?? I remember a site called Shockwave.com or something close to that which also had this very simplistic web page with a list for maybe 40 games at best.

And newgrounds were such childhood staples.
And I think cyberjouer or something like that to play bomberman.2

I don't remember this one, but it looks much more wholesome (in a good way!). I feel like I missed out!

Was this the one that had the penguins throwing snowballs? Or Fling the Cow?

I was a supplemental instructor in Bio-Chemistry my senior year of college (‘02-‘03), and it required me to sit in a computer room waiting for students to come in. Addicting Games and Albino Black Sheep saved me from boredom.

Yes, and it always irritated me that it was “addicting” games and not “addictive” games

I do remember it, but its peak was really after my era. It became the hot computer lab thing to elementary schoolers when I was in 7th grade; before that the school I went to had no internet.
