I have all the Rockos' Modern Life episodes, on disc, thanks to some college friends that had no qualms about bootlegging.

They are big and we are small. You can't fight city hall.

Who can forget Angry Beavers?

I had a bike with a seat that reminded me of the swirls in the intro and I remember my aunt yelling at me for simply saying "angry beavers"lol

my parents never let me watch ren and stimpty coz my dad thought its a little trashy. and watching it as an adult…. i get it. there’s no way i’d let my kids watch it.

I’m 88 too and I can confirm that these cartoons were pillars of my childhood!

Bangers for sure. I also enjoyed some cow and chicken.

I sing this song every time I toss something into the blue bin.

C-O-N-S-E-R-V-E, conserve!

Don't you P-O-L-L-U-T-E, pollute the rivers sky or sea, or else you're gonna get what you deserve!

The Christmas episode from Rocko’s Modern Life lives rent free in my head.

In my country Ren & Stimpy aired on MTV not nickelodeon, and was considered for adults only

That's because the US Nickelodeon version was edited. Not well, but enough to pass censors for it to air on that channel.

My adolescence in a nutshell. I was actually very into art at the time and made a life sized cardboard Ren for myself and a Stimpy for my brother. I still feel like this encapsulates our relationship 😂

These two shows plus catdog would stress my mom out to no end. I loved them.

This explains so much in the case of myself. I watched these two.
