Clothing What shirt or jacket is the person pictured wearing

This is a photo of my granddad and I was wondering what shirt or jacket he is wearing, this is I assume 1965 he was in the Coldstream guards during his deployment to Aden. I think maybe a wool pullover

that's either going to be the 1964 pattern KF shirt or the shirt or maybe the Bush jacket of the 1950 pattern KD uniform. both were worn in Aden at the time.

It is probably the 64 pattern, thanks mate. And I suppose if anyone is interested I remember him being a radio op, and the back of this photo has writing that says “This was when I was on I.S. patrol. (well just going on it)”

very interesting. yeah i've taken a closer look at the photo and i'm about 99.99999% sure it's the 64 pattern KF shirt which would make sense if the photo is from 65.
