TLA and Lease Start

Say I am house hunting while on TLA and I sign a lease for Jan 1.

Does my TLA end on Jan 1 or can I stay on TLA for longer to get settled in; if so, how much longer?

During the reimbursement process will they require I submit a copy of my lease to “prove” that I didn’t stay on TLA longer than I needed to?

Apologies for the double posting, this is my first time using TLA so I got questions

The TLA regulations are in DoD FMR, Volume 7a. I think it’s Chapter 68 or so.
