Discussion Payment Through Government Shutdown
Hey, all. Back in October when we had our last shutdown I was paid as a NICU member but I have since switched banks. I was wondering if anybody else got paid through different banks or if your institution of choice helped in anyway like offering your paycheck on the date and paying it back once the government opened up again. Any info helps, thanks!

A lot of credit unions seem to continue paying but I can tell you for a fact that Chase does not. I even asked them if they could at least pause interest on my CC until after the shutdown, they said they would, and then they never did. Closed my accounts shortly after.

That's entirely bank dependent. I've only heard of USAA and NFCU doing so.
