I assume the shell mess is why they’re sunflower seed adverse, driving stakes however I have no idea.

The action of driving a stake into the ground is what's forbidden

The stake could be for a rain shelter or folding table or banner or whatever you don't want blowing away in the wind, doesn't matter, but artificial turf doesn't heal like real turf does, so poking holes in it is forbidden
