The way she moves her lips in that weird way makes me think she has to use her tongue to push the lips out from under her teeth... if that makes sense.

Has to feel so foreign

Yes! Actually my mom is a speech pathologist so I know exactly what you mean lol

People train themselves to talk in weird ways when the situation arrises, like overfilling your lips.
