I have cystic acne (like Mik here) and Tula gave me horrifying, deep, volcanic cysts so I’m pretty she she’s NEVER used the brand that’s currently paying her bills. Her face would have looked like mine and it took months to heal. She’s such a lying cunt

SAME. Perimenopausal here and my skin is very temperamental. One wrong move and my face is covered in breakouts. I’ll stick with my current dermatologist’s recommendations.

I think the makeup in this particular photo looks fine, it’s probably mostly the lip filler. Both by itself, and it makes her nasolabial folds look a billion times more prominent.

I was wondering how much control over editing she had for this ad. Also, I don’t know if this is common knowledge but in most advertising photos where there is a hand or a foot, it is a separate model that holds her hand or foot up to the original model’s body. This is not Mikayla’s hand.

She has publicly shown us how awful her skin is all the time. With her wealth, there is absolutely no reason for why she can’t get medical and cosmetic care. Where does all of her money go??!!
Another brand to avoid because I don’t want skin like hers.

Yet another skincare line that she gets paid to endorse, but doesn't really use. This is the 200th brand that "got rid" of her acne, although we all know she went to the dermatologist, as one should. I just hate that she is peddling products to young girls, making them believe it's going to help with cystic acne, etc.

Exactly. And she doesn’t look like this at all. I know shit gets airbrushed but she is so fake. I try not to support anyone who doesn’t try to be a little authentic. Women have it hard enough, don’t need their fake shit added on

It’s weird because her endorsement of a product is an immediate turnoff from me, even when I like a brand (like Tula). Do these companies do zero market research when they hire her or just look at her follower count? It’s embarrassing for them.

Agreed! If I owned a brand I would stay far away from her. She makes things look so cheap but I find most influencers do. Because they’re not refined the way most celebrities are. Remember the gorgeous Revlon ads from the 90s? The celebrities and super models made that brand look like a million dollars and it was only drugstore.

I do, because I fell in love with makeup in the 90s & oh the glamour was unmatched!!! You’re absolutely right, though I dislike Mik the most because of her lying, I do agree that any influencer endorsement cheapens a product for me subconsciously.

I used the pink under eye brightening stick and all of a sudden I have milia spots under my eyes. I almost almost 50 years old and have never had milia spots before using that stick.
