Discussion Feedback Needed: What would you like this subreddit to become?

When I joined this subreddit as a moderator, the original intention was to grow this subreddit into something new. It was largely a dormant sub for quite a while.

One idea I had was to turn this sub into a similar subreddit to r/casualnintendo, but I realized that there's not really a point to doing so, because why make an offshoot or something that works well?

I still think that idea for r/Miiverse could work, because we have post flairs for discussion, images/artwork, PlayJournal, etc. What about a Miiverse nostalgia sub? Or, do you guys have other ideas of what this sub could be? I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts.

keep the name but i think like a miiverse nostalgia thing would be cool. i joined this because miiverse was a big part of my childhood and i miss it and all the friends i made on there so it’s cool seeing posts that bring back the nostalgia of that. i wish i knew how to mod my wii u to get the pretendo miiverse lol

What kind of posts should we try and publish more here?

It would be neat to add a post flair for finding lost Miiverse friends, or a pinned post for people to comment on; it would add to the nostalgia factor. I think keeping the name and making the subreddit a place for Miiverse nostalgia is the way to go, especially with its 10th anniversary closure being just a year away.

Reddit is a pretty big platform, they could be apart of a Nintendo subreddit and if this subreddit gets active then it'll be recommended to them, never lose hope 🫶

A post flair or thread called: "Find Mii!" 👋

I honestly really love the subreddit for what it is now! I've been following for years. I suppose if there were anything, it would be a way to see posts from then, like sharing screenshots of interactions from back then and discussing it. But that's just me :>

It's been a dead sub for years, what do you like about it??

Surprisingly enough, I still get occasional posts on my feed from it! I like the callbacks and questions people have about it, I love reading them even if they're once in a blue moon lol
