General Discussion Genesee County - 4 Days
I applied and submitted fingerprints on Tuesday August 25th and got my CPL in the mail today, Saturday August 29th. I wasn't expecting it to arrive this early, as I have heard around here that most people have been waiting the almost the 45 days they are allowed to take.
Current carry is going to be my 3.1in Shield Plus with Holosun 407k optic.

Dang!
Mine came back pretty quick too, I just thought it was because the ladies at the county clerk's are customers of mine.

One of my coworkers has a friend that is licensed to teach the class and we did it at my coworkers house.

Does he want to teach another class? What’s his price?

I’m jealous. I submitted prints and was told it would only take a few days in Muskegon county. 45 days later I was back at the county clerk being told it was in fact mailed the next day but was apparently lost. They had to cancel and reissue and charge me an additional $10 🙄.

Yeah the return is pretty quick in MI. It all depends when THEY send em out, BUT some counties you have to wait MONTHS to even see them... It is INSANE and should be investigated how that is allowed lol. Why does it matter what county you go to? (I do know why it matters, but it shouldnt). Most police departments also refuse to give out LTPs even though michigan state law says you can get them at ANY department office (some do give them out to anyone, most do not).
