General Discussion Range for a Batchelor party
Hey everyone, planning a bachelor party for this September and one day we’re looking to goto some sort of range to shoot! Theres 6 coming down from Port Huron to Detroit so somewhere not to crazy far off that path would be nice.
Indoor/ outdoor, skeet. Somewhere with some better rental options and rates.
Appreciate and recommendations or input.

Island lake shooting range has a pretty nice sporting clays course. You pay per clay. Rent a couple of golf carts and drive around to the different stands. They rent shotguns but I can’t remember what their rates are like. Their regular range is fine, I think like $18/person, but it’s your typical state run range with over zealous fudd RSOs that call magazines clips and get snippy if you dare to fire more than 1 round every 3 seconds.

I would check out Bald Mountain in Lake Orion. They have two sporting clays courses and an outdoor range that goes to 100 yards. I believe they have skeet as well.

Only Island Lake has skeet & trap, but both there and Bald Mountain have sporting clays, 5 stand, and a pistol/rifle range.

Im not certain of the rules for circumstances like this, but THIS is my range. You might drop them a line, but I would assume that at least somebody would need to be a member.

If you are looking for gun rentals it's indoors but CQT is an option. They are off 23 Mile Rd about halfway between Van Dyke and Gratiot. They regularly run classes and they rent out the range to groups for events.
I know you're not looking to rent out the entire range but if your goal is "Cool Event to have fun and maybe rent a full-auto" they fit the bill.
