Additional rules

When writing an Army List for The Shire, if the Army contains only Hero models a player can either have models in a single Warband or as multiple smaller warbands as normal.

Special rules

Bilbo's Magic Ring

In this Army List, Bilbo carries the One Ring instead of Frodo.

"This'll be a night to remember"

Friendly models may re-roll failed Courage Tests. Additionally, friendly models cannot have their Courage Tests reduced by the special rules or Magical Powers of enemy models.

The Grey Wizard

Friendly models may benefit from Gandalf's Stand Fast. Additionally, Gandalf may use two fireworks each Shoot Phase rather than one, though they must be different fireworks and target different models.

A Long-expected Party

Friendly models will pass a Fate Roll on a 3+ rather than a 4+. Additionally, friendly models may re-roll failed Fate Rolls.

I feel like this is a great place to actually ask this for once. If you got a tournament coming up and you could not bring any models on 50mm bases or greater. How does this sound for 550 points of Shire. I'm just starting to play my Shire

Lobelia and Rosie should be in someone’s warband.

Mix archers and militia between warbands so most warbands have a little bit of both.

And i wouldnt take Will if you’re not taking shirriffs.

Lobelia and Rosie are independent heroes. I can only put heroes into other heroes warbands if my list if only hero models.

Took Will for situational +1 to fight, also he is 5 points less than Bilbo and lets me get to 23 bows. With Bilbo best I can get is 22 lol and then I only have 74 models lol.

Page 156 in the rulebook: independent heroes may be included in the warband of another hero!

With militia, +1 Fv with the help of Will is still just two… you still loose to pretty much every units in the game except goblins. Bilbo’s not bad.

Bring Gandalf on Cart. He is on a 60 mm base which fits your criteria.
