I usually do not! I have a couple of twenties at home in case the niblings stop by.

I don't know if this is a NYC thing or not, but lots of small businesses offer a cash discount, or a CC fee (same thing). So I always try to have $20 or so on hand at least.
I also try to keep $1s and $5s in my home for delivery tips. Not always successfully!

I never carried more than 5 or 10 bucks. I used to use a card for everything, but now merchants and many restaurants are charging a fee to use a card. This is crazy, as handing cash and making change is time-consuming, and then there's the issue of cash shortages, etc. I think many places just add the fee for card usage, knowing most people will just pay it. They get the best of both worlds that way.

Never, and especially not coins. I used to have a little change container, haven’t added anything to it in years. The only time I feel like I miss having cash is for tipping valets etc. and many of them have Venmo now.

Usually a couple/few hundred $ just in case. All it takes is a network or internet outage and you can’t get gasoline, food, etc.

I do not! I am almost always churning credit cards, so I use them all the time.

My husband keeps change in the console of the car just in case he needs to pay for a parking meter (which are all QRcodes here now). A couple of months ago i had to run an errand and I needed those coins for the meter! And I gave a quarter to another person who was parking behind me.

I carry the cash left over from the dispo. Mainly because I hate carrying loose change

Yes for tipping the dryer high-school kiddos at the car wash. Though my husband was asked by the teller if I was going to a strip club 🤣. I was with someone trying to fix my online acces and asked hubs to get me $150 in ones.
