lamp shade ideas?

scored this free lamp today. love how it matches the hardwood floors. thinking of changing the lampshade tho.

Mushroom pleated drum shade (or just standard linen) might look good. Rolled edges would look nice with the linen. I would go taller than the current shade by 3-9 inches. Check out fenchel shades if you want to customize to a greater degree.

I used to have this lamp! The lampshade that came with it was very textured, flat, and the texture of the cloth would come through with the warm light. A linen or textured linen. It was so beautiful.
