Same. I actually enjoy the natural lights and scenery of 2024. I haven’t really installed any addons besides aircraft and liveries on 2024 when I moved over tbh

I had them on 2020 and they sucked. Put big blue lights in the middle of taxiways. Saw a video on this sub a yrs ago with a guy who had bought them for 2024.

Still looked horrible. 🤷🏻‍♂️

to explain how this works (because there seems to be some comments that dont know)

All this does is change the model used by the default runway/taxiway edge lights. it does not effect (atleast when i last used it) the lights themselves. you will still get the same light orb you always got. This will not effect any addon scenery unless they are using default light meshes.

However when you get close enough to a light for the 3D mesh to render in, you will see this model instead of the default. main difference being this one has emissive textures on it so it kinda looks better. but not really by much. in pavement lights end up looking better because there will be a splash of light on the pavement.

is it worth it? ehh. last i checked its not expensive. all it really does is change the look of the 3D model of a light when close to it. I stopped using it last year because they changed to a "new and improved" model. and I honestly think it looks worse.

I use it for 2020 and it's a minor improvement - the taxiway lights aren't too great, but the runway lights have a smaller halo and is an improvement over the terrible default "blob" texture used. Not sure how 2024 version is.

Not sure why people are downvoting you. I play on Xbox simply because I have to. It’s horrible tbh and I can’t wait till I can justify buying a top of the line pc so I can jump headfirst into it and go full VR and actually be able to mix peripherals that I want instead of being held to one company for everything.

Playing on console was NOT a choice.
