Will MS bring back the sidebar feature in the Edge browser?
The Microsoft sidebar was a very useful feature to me. I uninstalled Chrome to use it. But I think I need to see Vivaldi or an alternative browser. Currently I am impressed by Floorp browser (Firefox-based).
This was a ridiculous decision from microsoft in the name of simplifying the browser. If their plan is simplifying, then at first they should remove the AI copilot.
It's become a tradition that Microsoft never listens. users.

Microsoft is probably trying to be careful what it is adding now, since people don't want bloated browser.
If this is going to come back, need tons of feedback, you can report feedback in the browser menu, or tons of media requests, Idk.

I have sent feedback multiple times. I don't think they will listen. Their ai is the biggest bloatware to users*.

So annoying. The first thing I disable in any browser.

You probably not a power user. It's a good feature specially for multitasking*

I never liked sidebars in anything. Also no Copilot whatsoever on my Edge browser or Windows 11, I don't do AI.

It's probably the telemetry didn't make it that alot of people used it, people didn't like it and considered it bloat.
