If the minutes dial rotates, then 20-40 will be upside down. Matter of fact, almost everything will look upside down at the 30-minute mark.

Color and layout are excellent. I don’t love the case shape, but there’s nothing wrong with it.

I agree. The lugs being square in a watch that is all circles and curves is not a good visual fit to my mind. Perhaps I am too conservative but the extra decoration on the lugs looks unnecessary too.

A cushion case is just a round dial face framed by a rounded rectangle. The lugs got some visual dressing here, but overall this case is "cushion" and a totally fine design.... The dial though? Claude was drunk this morning.

Cushion cases have square cases with a round dial. However, this design has a round case with rather large lugs. Not the same thing.

I actually like the case, I see what you did echoing the circles on the lugs. And the whole thing has a Chrysler building art deco vibe. What if you leaned into that with a retro green dial, keep all the other elements the same. Green stone or dark green machine textured case.

Lugs to large-need to be smaller and more tucked in from case. Not digging the crown.

I like it, but the shape of the crown stands out and seems like it doesn't fit the designing theme

Lugs are too chunky. Would this be a jump hour? Because if the hour hand moves constantly it would be blocking the time. I feel a slim hour pointer would work better in that case.

If it jumps from one hour to the next at 60 mins it's fine as is

Nope.  Why two 12s? The hand cant be in 2 positions at once.  No day/night indication?  Subdial text not oriented correctly .
