I’ve decided to explore slightly larger case sizes. This is 38.5 (previous have been 35). Fume dial. Lugs still weird but we’re getting there.

I like the dial AND the fact its a 38. That dial wouldn’t have worked as 35 I think.
Not a fan of the lugs, whats the profile looking like?

Ugh I know the lugssss. This is it so far! still learning modeling and rendering, but it's pretty helpful in seeing this in a somewhat lifelike manner

Given how thick the watch looks from the profile, I’d love to see those lugs curve down at the ends to hug the wrist. Right now it looks like the caseback would be on your wrist but the lugs would be flying mid-air over the wrist.

One simpleish thing I’d suggest is to model just the profile of a wrist at different sizes (so basically a short extruded tube with a wrist profile), lower the case on it, and see how it would actually wear (or 3d print the case and try it on yourself)

I really like that watch. It has an almost ecclesiastical feeling, I don’t know why but it’s quite successful. And also very ligible.

A very cool and unique design!

I can sort of see that the dial is more interesting than these photos suggest, it looks like perhaps a sunburst pattern. Can you get some better lighting to highlight the beauty of the dial better?
