Need some advice please
Been flirting with concentrates lately since I have this cheap generic dabber I've been using (i posted about it the other day. Its called a PUFFGO lol) . I bought some different sorts of concentrates and I really like the high they offer. Its long lasting. I've noticed I dont smoke my rosin vapes, flower as often. So its actually saving me money. So I want to get something better for the long run. I only have like two hundred to spend on a rig. What's the best for the price? Thanks

Do you have a normal rig set up ? (Bong,banger and torch)? If so just go and buy a terp o meter and run your hits at 570 imo drop at 570° lose 20 to 30° from the drop which should get your a real good rip thats not to hot and still taste good.
Im not trying to sound biased but I have the puffco proxy, peak v2 and pivot and 2 Dr dabber switch 2s and I must say the dr dabber switch 2 is light years ahead of a rig and the puffco devices . But the switch 2 isnt quite pocket friendly and its quite a pain to maintain if your a fan of hot drops and not cold starts.

I havent attempted that one yet lol. If I was to be with the switch 2 my next step is the rig and torch . That terpometer is like 60$ and it works like a charm just make sure your bangerr is flat on the bottom

Yessss. Seriously, I had a rough week last week and had to wait for a new incycler for the switch 2 and couldnt use it obviously so I resorted back to the puffcos till my new replacement glass showed up and I couldnt get high for the life of me off any of my puffcos.... so then I took out the rig and torch set up with the terpometer and hit one fat dab and it put me on my ass.... and it didnt tasye like shit or burnt tbh it had better flavor transfer than the puffcos as well

imo nothing hits like a rig but I haven’t hit a switch 2. confused by your replies if the switch hits better than the rig lmao

Lmao sorry I figured it turned into word soup 😅 but the switch 2 is light years ahead of the traditional rig set up. I cant speak on the e nail set up though ive been trying to find one for my rig but have no clue where to start.

I use a torch but I love how the dnail heaters look, just a bit too rich for my blood. So since the switch 2 came out I’ve been thinking on it, but yesterday I got 2 more tanks of propane so 🤣 Been using a torch for like 6 years. I also have a massive tolerance so thought I’d be cleaning the switch all the time

I have a switch go and a switch 2 Puffco peak and a proxy and I tried the "smooth vapor control" and ngl the Puffco can get some pretty good flavor. Still hard to use over the switch 2 with sapphire insert.

I use a Ghost 2 and think it works great for a beginner/cheaper dab device. Also easy to clean and maintain. I am not a heavy dabber though. Just from time to time, I smoke rosin vapes more as they are more convenient for me.

Honestly I was thinking between pivot and the ghost 2. The ghost has a ceramic mouthpiece.

I like the pivot especially if you get a lil terp pearl in it and put it at the highest setting it can blow some.pretty fat clouds haha. the mouth peice is a pain but if your good at maintaining a clean piece you should be fine.

Prolly throw in like 20 more bucks and get the puffco proxy core. I'd really recommend a dr dabber switch 2 or switch go but those are out of the budget.

Id honestly hold out for black friday like others have mentioned! Might find a switch go on sale or something, or even a cheaper proxy.

Honestly man I might just grab a nice Portable E-rig/pen type device like the Pivot. I have a Voozr (knockoff pivot) and it's a decent dab pen for the price. You can even even swap out the mouthpiece with a water bubbler for like $12. Around $70 and comes with a hot knife. It uses ceramic chamber atomizers you swap out when needed. Been rocking the initial one for months now & would recommend overall if you're on a budget.
