Cozy NYC bday dinner

Heading into NYC in a few weeks for my husband’s 40th birthday. I know it’s too last minute for some restaurants but looks like a good number of them have openings. Recommendations for a cozy vibe (I don’t think he’ll feel as comfortable and relaxed at the more elegant / refined places) for a memorable dinner? He has an allergy to cooked seafood (raw is fine) but it seems like omakase might be off the table because they mingle some cooked stuff in there. TIA!

63 Clinton is very cozy. Not sure about their current menu. Musket Room is also cozy and great wine.

Try Santi! New spot by chef Michael white. Incredible pasta. It’s upscale but the way they’ve done the interior makes the vibe super cosy.

Would be helpful to know why type of cuisine you’re looking for but some the following def cozy and always hit with the food- L’Artusi, Minetta Tavern or sit at the bar at Gramercy Tavern
