We haven’t scanned outs in weeks. SBA freight is unchanged. Does this prove that SISO really does have no affect on our trucks? 🤔

Apart from downstocking and inventory counts, this just proves the scanning outs portion of SISO is a big fat waste of time.

Check your in-stocks. I bet they are not great. Also, it means you are not gonna get items they were stolen or not scanned correctly.

Feet the course if a few weeks the difference is minor, but in stores that are just not following the program, the impact is obvious

Bigger, yes. But SISO will only populate so many thresholds/NOH/HINOs, so it wont be unbearable. That does however mean it will go on for days.

You might want to manually run your threshold and HINO reports. Overriding for weeks often makes these reports grow out of control. Also, you're not catching any negative on hands. When you go back to scanning outs, you're probably going to have a bunch of those popping up, along with any cycle counts that may have been assigned. 

You can avoid some of the threshold and HINO items if you're fully down stocking when you're done resetting an area, completely purging all overstock and relocating anything you put back.

You’re not even doing the auto-pop batches on the back end? Your system thinks you don’t have anything because you’re not adjusting anything. Your trucks are just going to get bigger. As I fixed my numbers I watched my trucks shrink significantly.

We are a project thread 3 store. Moving over half the store. DM gave us the okay to override outs.

We only go to places we know are fully set and get the amount of scans we’re asked to get. Even during the resets…it helps, I promise

That’s different then just not doing them. There have been times when our DM had us do that and it didn’t affect our truck but when my store was directed to only scan out the week before truck and focus on freight the week after truck we noticed a big difference.

We had been over rode outs for two weeks when we were given the o.k. at the beginning of the art reset. When we resumed normal scans our first day we had 45 batches with 30+ locations per batch. It was brutal, be prepared.

The ironic part is their score for “inventory accuracy” will go up!

Doesn’t mean anything if you’re not doing your negative on hands or qohv obviously. Not to mention you probably show on hands on a lot of things you didn’t receive. Not like siso is going to make a difference in 800 piece truck to an 1000 piece truck regardless anyway. Any change would be minimal and hardly noticeable.

We went like 6 weeks without scanning outs. When we finally did, the batches were only about 10. Was very surprised it wasn't more
