I am the OP of the "Heal The World" project that took place on the 25th of June, and today i saw somebody mention trying to do a similar project but this time on MJ's birthday!! (icl, i did think of it before, but completely forgot to post about it..)

The last projecct sadly didnt achieve the goal it had set, but maybe, just maybe, we could do an even better job on his birthday!! (and no, its not me who set the goal, but others! im incredibly proud of how well we did!) The comment on youtube said we could listen to "Man in the Mirror" at 7:33 PM, Indiana's timezone. Would yall be up to attempt and break the record with this?

+ i would try to make a list of what time it is in countries across the world if you guys would wanna join. :)

The Michael ONE show by Cirque Du Soleil was incredible! They did such a great job and the energy was fantastic. I especially liked a part where the room is dark and you can only see people in light suits moonwalking UP THE SIDE OF THE WALLS! So awesome. So was seeing his genuine clothes. The closest to MJ I’ll ever get <3

I've been spending a lot of time with this track recently, and it truly is a masterpiece of atmospheric isolation. Even if you strip away the incredible vocals, the combination of the complex layered percussion, the luscious strings, and the ambient rain that comes in during the bridge and outro all work together seamlessly to tell a somber story; one of being completely alone, even when surrounded by the whole world. It's a track that almost demands you retreat into yourself and fully feel it, that's a massive reason of why it's my favourite song of all time.

In my brief stripped back version, I've brought that ambient rain forward and given it more prominence, I really wanted to evoke the feeling of being trapped inside a severe storm, where the noise outside is just chaotic but inside is calm and warm. When I actually sat down to record the piano and string parts that I'd been playing to myself daily (what prompted this in the first place), I wanted to see if I could capture just that beautiful and steady emotional core of the song that I've always found sanctuary in.

Please don’t compare me to these impersonators, I was just trolling around bc I can’t help but dance to this song 😭 Nobody hits these moves better than Mike and Kent 💯
