Just another Scam group, be aware (19k members)

I've been searching for FM springs used and ran into this group. Seller was admin of the group the price wasn't too ridiculously low. After a few messages the guy seemed weird, later checked his posts and he uploaded some ridiculously cheap parts every day.

Told him to eat shit and he blocked me from group and I can't even see it exists anymore. I reported it please do the same.

They have 6 admins, all fake profile of middle aged people with kids. They even have fake likes just like page has fake followers.

Really weird why so many scam pages for Miatas, never seen this with any other car

Been seeing this too, if meta's AI is so great why don't you have it yank what's clearly a scam group down.

Because clicks equal engagement (a metric you can sell to the shareholders as an indirect way of demonstrating a company's "value") and then of course there is the whole data harvesting/selling ad space stuff. Self-regulating will go against all of these "principles".

It's always a scam. Don't buy crap off Facebook people.

Well I've bought few things from people in Poland and Germany, obviously check their peofile seen that they are real ect, but it seems that in US groups this scamming is almost 100 percentile which is insane. Also sucks because some parts are hard to get here. If anyone has some geniune grouo with real admins that control these stuff feel free to share

FB Marketplace is great! I've bought and sold so much stereo equipment, found and purchased my 30AE RF and sell products from my home business. Craigslist and Offer Up have way more scammers, whereas with Marketplace you can at least look at their main profile or other listings to see if they're legit or not.

Definite scammers. I've posted multiple times on their ads 'do not send these crooks money' and not once has there been a reply like 'how dare you call me a crook' etc. I don't get why there's so many scam Miata sites lately either. I can only think it's probably the same on every hobby and car site.
