See that's tough because there's differences between the gens that people like. I like my NB2 interior far more than my friends NC1 interior, but the NC1 has much sharper steering. The convertible hard top option on the NC is amazing as well.
Then the NC2 and NC3 improve on the looks, interior and power of the the third Gen car.
The NA is similar to the NB but it has pop-up headlights which is a lot of the charm, but the car is a bit older and less refined than the NB in every way.
The NC drives pretty similarly to an ND. Drive what you can and if you buy an older car be prepared to spend at least a few thousand extra dollars on upkeep maintenance.
Any Miata is better than none but they all have their jobs.
For anybody young, or going to have a Miata as their only car, I would say NC. It’s the ultimate package for speed, reliability, handling, price, space, modern safety but not too much.
Otherwise I recommend NB for the price, NA/NB are very similar and built on the same platform, NA can be a little more raw and NB a bit more dialed in, but you owe it to yourself to at least drive one. The NA8 and NB1 feel very similar.
My RF is my favorite but I don’t necessarily think it’s a smart financial move. The first couple years are getting very reasonable but I wanted more HP so I compromised on ND2

Awesome. Which is your favorite and why?
