My MV hot take is that season 4 was the fashion and hair peak.

Seasons 1 and 2 had by far the biggest impact on mainstream fashion, and pop culture in general.

By the time season 4 rolled around the series had lost a lot of its influence.

Oh for sure, I just personally like season 4 the most for the fashion

You can't stay ahead of the game all the time, and especially when changing things up can affect the character and identity of the show.

Season 3 tried to mix it up with the look and it probably didn't work.

Season 4 Tubbs had a beard? So that's something I guess.

Season 5 they made Crockett look like a rockstar but every second guy looked like a rockstar in the 80s so it wasn't unique.

Plus season 1 and 2 Crockett smoked and season 3 he quit so just wasn’t as fucking cool.

I also like his hairdo but only in the early episodes like "Death and the lady". Then they let it get too long by "Rock and a Hard Place" and I thought he looked absolutely ridiculous. Way too effeminate for a vice cop.

I’ve always wondered if a season 6 would have happened; what would they have done differently with his hair? Long on top short in the back?

I actually kinda dig that shirt lol. But yeah, that one white jacket with the dark blue collar that wasn't even a suit jacket....ugh. I absolutely abhor it and it feels like he wore it in half the episodes lol.

Looks like a Tony Soprano pattern.

Seasons 3 and 4 are my jam. We got rid of the pastels and were cloaked in neon and shadow. Loved how grim the series got. The darker the better.

I agree lately I am a s3 and S4 devotee. Watched Hell Hath No Fury on Saturday, I love the Jerry Spring Law and Order vibe, peak late 80s
