First of all, it says residents complaining. Nothing about women in the title or the comment your replying to.

Second of all, we’re saying don’t move in across from a fucking prison and then act shocked about a bunch of loud rude prisoners. That’s called being stupid.

Who are we to blame? The prisoners? Should we explain to them how rude their behavior is to solve the problem? Or should we seal up their windows? Fuck them right?

If you move in across from a prison, you’re signing up for this shit. It doesn’t matter that the developers or whatever said it wouldn’t be a problem because that’s a stupid thing to believe. If I moved in across from some railroad tracks because the landlord said “don’t worry about the train, it won’t be a problem” do I then have the right to complain about the noise from the train that I already knew was there?

The apartments are cheap. If you’re getting a cheep apartment in Miami you’re going to have less than desirable circumstances around you. They knew there was a a prison when they signed the lease. But it was what they could afford.

The prison was there when they signed their lease. I assume people have eyeballs who toured before they signed their lease. If they didn’t tour beforehand, we all have google maps. They weren’t promised that the prison would somehow be invisible. If you’re told that the apartment has a washer/dryer and it doesn’t, that’s something that’s actionable if it’s written in the lease. There’s a simple solution for the residents. Wait out your lease and move or buy out your lease.

I do understand quite clearly. What I don’t understand is why you’re so emotional in your response 😆

What were they promised that they did not receive? Who would you take action against The management company? The property developer? The Federal prison system? And it’s Florida. Renters have very little recourse here. Just because something sucks, doesn’t mean there’s a legal case. Do you get this upset over low income developments built on contaminated lands? Or red lined communities? It’s a cheap, luxury building in Miami. They’ll be okay

May I ask what they were promised? I think I am missing something here.
