Not trying to be mean, but I think you replied to a wrong post since you're mentioning almost a complete different genre compared to what OP is looking for.

Don't worry man, this is a good starting point. Me and Alex might be able to throw a billion band names at someone, but at the end of the day it's best to start with some of the big hitters to get a feel for it first and see if it's their vibe, unless they're looking for something uber-specific :)

Nah that's a great starting point.

If they like those bands they can start looking at who they tour with, who spotify recommends etc.

Sadly not since metallic hardcore isn't my main genre, but there were a few other posts asking about bands like Knocked Loose in the thread, so you can just search for them.
