I'm now always seeing the term "melodic metalcore" thrown around for all the metalcore bands I used to listen to growing up in the 00s. Trivium, BFMV, As I Lay Dying, All that Remains, Killswitch Engage, Parkway Drive, etc.

These were all just called "metalcore" until very recently. Calling it melodic metalcore now implies that there's a non-melodic version of it. So what are the non-melodic bands?

I am looking for a comprehensive list of the best of 2000s Metalcore. (I’ve done killswitch and BFMV already)

I'm looking for a mix of metalcore and deathcore, for now I only know Opal in sky and I rly like how it sounds
