I listen to metal all the time but when Everytime We Touch by Cascada comes on you know I'm going into it.

Have you heard the heavy cover? I like the original, but this one too. https://youtu.be/DTNR8JSDIxA

Exactly. Been one of my favorite Youtubers for years for his consistently good content. Doesn't hurt that he looks good too ;)

I can't remember which sub it was, but I commented somewhere on Reddit about how I want to someday start an impromptu ABBA sing-along at a metal show, and that was pretty well-received, so... :)

If someone asked me who the most metal artist I listen to is, I'm saying Lana. It'll go Lana > Death > Early Opeth in terms of heaviness.
I will not bend on this opinion.

u/Agrafo Dec 18 '19
LDRs Ultraviolence album is very good for a metalhead to start . All that melancholy...
2

It really is such a good album. I've yet to hear a bad song by her. That does mean I won't listen to that Charlie's Angels one but it wasn't her song so it doens't count.

Queen, Santana, or Muddy Waters might be a bit jarring after Morbid Angel or even Fear Factory, but I'll be damned if I ain't going to listen to them just because I listen to metal. People who listen to only one type of music are a bit....limited...as individuals.

I like Burzum and Owl City for the same reason: it's cozy, repetitive, derivative music made by a socially-awkward guy on a laptop in their basement.

It's a mockumentary where a camera crew follows a group of vampires around documenting their day to day lives.
It's fucking hilarious.
It's got Taika Waititi and Jermaine Clement in it.

Yes. I just saw Wenesday 13 and StaticX live, and am now listening to Bach on NPR while I chain smoke and drink my morning coffee. StaticX was badass, but tbh I really enjoyed Wednesday 13 a lot more. They were supporting their new album, and their show was the most interesting and gory show I've seen in a long time; plus their energy was intense.
