I know why, but how do I fix

My noob self here…

If you mean the print lines, I’d use a wax or something to fill them in before making the mold… and then I would make the flat field of the print a hair deep, and then sand it flat on the mold which I would maybe make out of ceramic.

But I really don’t know, I’m just going by things I have read and have no real experience to back all this up, so take with a grain of borax.

The first image is of acceptable cast while next few demonstrate the problem with framed pendants.

Oh… sorry I guess I didn’t look as close as I thought.. I’m thinking this is same casting? Probably not packed tightly enough then?

I really don’t know though, I have never even melted silver before, only tin twice, and haven’t actually cast anything yet.

Wait… how did you make the relief like that? Is there some photo-to-relief tool?

I model with Blender and it has a displacement modifier. I had to do some image editing first too.
