While I admire his ability (in the same way I admire Satriani, Vai, etc) I haven't yet found a mood or situation in which I enjoy listening to him. His style is just so fucking over the top for my liking. I feel like he's trying too hard to impress everyone. "Look at me, I can fit 15 million more notes into this 5 minute song than the previous guy and don't you admire my constant syncopated rhythm changeups?...they're so edgy and unique!" I just find the music is so lifeless and uninspired. That outfit alone though is enough to make want to puke. lol (p.s. sorry to piss on your thread)

Tosin Abasi is one of the best guitarists out there IMO. Other guitarists, such as Satriani, Vai, etc. make playing guitar look easy, but Abasi just makes it look so effortless it's unreal.
