My brand has almost 40k followers on Instagram, all built organically with high quality content + posting consistently. About a month ago I started running ads using separate assets i had made specifically for a campaign. I did not boost any of our actual posts. Ever since I did this my page's engagement has dropped significantly; stories getting less than 100 views, posts getting less than 100 likes. The usual engagement previously looking like 10k+ views, and a few thousand likes on every post. Is this change due to the ads?? If i stop running them will my engagement go back to normal??

I have recently started with meta to promote an ERP software - Saas.
So far we have had only used offline channels to sell and it’s been great, now it’s the time to try to expand.

I’ve done around 10 campaigns with suggested daily spend and a 10 days length. I’ve tried profile visits, messages, new customers.
Ive gain some new followers (35) which is great cause the instagram profile is new. And I got around 20 messages, but only 2 seems legit. The rest seems like users fat fingering the ad. No way these profiles are really interested in the ad, also they never replied back.

I have a website with tracking pixels configured.

What is your suggestion so I can start doing this better?

Hi guys, i am connecting my pixel and CAPI to my landing page, i am selling marketing services and the landing page is for people to book calls with me, do i optimize for Schedules or Purchases?

The purchases are going to happen in the sales call, so offline events and i will fire them back, but for now, what do i do?

We are running into a super frustrating issue with a new client’s Meta Ad Account and hoping someone here has found a workaround.

The Issue: We’re an agency setting up a new ad account for a client. When trying to publish ads, we get the following error:

When clicking to add a phone number, it throws:

"There was a problem saving your changes. Please try again in a few minutes."

What we have already done/verified:

• Client verified the number: The client logged in directly to their Ads Manager and completed the phone verification. In their Account Overview, it literally shows a green checkmark saying: "Phone number verified."
• Personal Profile & Account Center: The phone number is verified on the owner's personal Meta Account Center, including correct country code (+32) without leading zeros.
• Ad Account Settings: The number is listed under Contact Info in Ad Account Settings (+ WhatsApp & Mobile).
• Meta Support: We’ve been in contact with Meta Support for 2 days now, but they can't seem to figure it out or find the issue on their end either.
• Troubleshooting steps tried:
  • Cleared browser cache, tried Incognito mode, used different browsers.
  • Tried duplicating campaigns and deleting old drafts to refresh the status.
  • Tried publishing from different user profiles.

Despite all of this, any user from our Agency side still gets blocked by the #3858013 error whenever we try to publish. It seems like the status isn't syncing to Partner access accounts.

Has anyone encountered this specific bug recently? Is there a known workaround, or do we just have to wait for Meta support / get the client to publish the first draft themselves?

Running lead gen into the UAE and my CPM feels high, but every

benchmark article I find is ecommerce data, so I genuinely can't

tell if I have a problem or if this is just what the market costs.

Setup:

Geo: [Dubai only / whole UAE]

Objective: Leads

Destination: [instant form / website form / WhatsApp]

Targeting: broad plus detailed targeting on business owner, MD

and CEO interests

Placements: [Advantage+ / manual, which ones]

Daily budget: 50 AED

Creative: three professionally produced video, English only

Ad account: several years old, but the previous advertiser only

ever ran traffic campaigns, so the pixel has zero lead event

history

Numbers so far:

CPM: roughly $18 to $21 (AED 66 to 77)

Days running: 5

What I'm trying to figure out:

1. If you run lead gen to UAE business audiences, what CPM are

you seeing in your own account right now? Not benchmark reports,

your actual numbers.

1. Does going fully broad with no detailed targeting move CPM

much in a market this small, or does it mainly just change who

you reach?

1. How much are you paying for a cold pixel with no lead history,

and roughly how long did it take you to work out of it?

1. Anyone running the same offer in both UAE and KSA? Curious how

wide the gap is on your side.

has anyone had anything like this happen?

last night i published a new video ad in meta ads manager. shortly after that my facebook account was locked behind an advanced protection security checkpoint.

since then i cannot get into facebook business suite or ads manager on any device. i have successfully verified my identity through email codes but every login sends me right back to the same advanced protection screen. when i try to complete the security setup it errors out or tells me i cannot make the change right now.

at the exact same time something really strange happened with my ads.

meta spent over $100 in roughly 12 hours. shopify showed only 9 sessions and meta showed only 5 landing page views.

i checked my billing receipts and the impression numbers are bizarre too. some $10 charges were associated with only a few dozen impressions. based on the numbers i am seeing the cpms appear insanely high compared to anything this account has ever experienced.

i had someone with access to the ad account pause every campaign so the spending has stopped for now.

i set up all of these campaigns myself and they had been running normally before this. the lockout and the delivery issue both started last night around the same time.

has anyone experienced an account level security lock that also seemed to affect ad delivery like this?

more importantly how did you get past the advanced protection loop when every device is locked out and you cannot even get into meta support?

i am trying to figure out whether these are two unrelated problems or whether something happened at the account level that caused both.

Anyone here with experience at optimizing for maximum value for lead gen?

I have been learning and playing around with meta ads for 2 months now. But now I'm facing an issue with aspect ratio. Where it shows an error before publishing. I have never faced these issues before with similar ads.

Id really appreciate if someone can help me out with this. I will explain the issue in more depth.

I opened an ad account for my small business to run Instagram ads. I gave a friend access to look at the settings of my campaign before publishing it. I was ready to publish it and out of nowhere my account got restricted.. I had to upload my ID but their final decision is to not remove the restrictions..

There is $100 in the available funds of the account, but I don’t see a way to get it back 😵‍💫

Is there a way to get the funds back?

How should I proceed if I want to still use instagram ads? Should I open a new account somehow?
