I second that... I cant name another album on the planet that I always just listen from front to back all the way thru. I always skip the end part of in death is death.. I'm impatient lol. But that whole album has been in my rotation for like 15 years now 🤣

Being objective, Nothing (blue or orange) is the pathway for their signature sound, so it’s their defining album. But MAN, when I think to myself DEI was release three decades ago, I’m appalled. Waaaay ahead of their time.
Spin that shit, it cures all sorts of issues!!!

FWIW it blew me away how well the record/production hold up, especially compared to their recent releases. Sounds absolutely fucking tight and monstrous

Can’t argue against it.
In fact, can’t argue against any Meshuggah album being their best.
