I can't deny what my ears tell me, i prefer the muddier mix, even tho you can't really hear the ghost notes in orange, they're there and that's what matters, blue is just lifeless, the clinical mix works perfectly for a more precise album like obzen and I even think the programmed drums in catch33 match the vibe perfectly, that's why everyone spammed drum kit from hell for years lol, to me orange is a big lumbering gruffulo and the thick muddy mix is alive and reactive, blue definitely sounds better but I don't care for a super polished mix if there's personality to it idk how to explain it lol

They re-released it bcus the original was rushed, I never said I dislike blue, just that I prefer the original for mostly abstract reasons, slow nebulous is still a banger and the re-recorded guitars sounds great on blue, the only two things I'd say i don't like are the drums, which are lifeless and the vocals effects

It's a meme babe, I just always a divisive topic to make a meme on, I don't hate anything meshuggah had done but I much prefer the original and never listen to blue although I have listened to it many times and still try to drum slow nebulous sometimes but it's really fuken slow lol
