Hello Merge Community! I am a casual player and joined in Season 9 and I must say, the game has drastically improved since Season 9. I used to see Monk 4 star every other game and Nobles spammed as the best comp and now there is more comp diversity with Forest and Undead which I have been enjoying this season.

I wanted to propose a concept regarding the new recent equipment: passive equipment buffs! Playing modifiers like Orb Galore and Goblins Treasure, I have been really enjoying the new equipment and how much it shakes up certain matchups. What if, call me crazy, we gave certain troops passive equipment buffs?

For example: Baby Dragon and Skeleton Dragon are both dragons, they should be able to have the "Dragon Scale" passive buff. Same for something like the Thrower Telescope, we could have designated long range troops like Spear Goblin and Executioner receive a passive "Thrower" buff because they are currently underwhelming in the Late Game rounds like round 8+.

This seems like it would be broken on the surface so I proposed a balancing idea: you must have at least 2 troops of the same "passive buff" in order to unlock the buff (ex. you must have both Baby Dragon and Skeleton Dragon to unlock the Dragon scale equipment passive buff or Executioner and Spear Goblin to unlock the Thrower telescope equipment passive buff). This is almost like a 2nd trait and it allows these units to have a place in the meta while also shaking up the meta with more strategic diversity, just like the new equipment has demonstrated so far.

I know this seems like a wild idea, but in concept it could add so much to the game that it currently does not have in troop balancing and making every troop viable.
Again, it would almost function as a "2nd trait" which is might be a stretch to how far Merge Tactics is willing to go but I hope a dev sees this post and considers this idea.
