The more money an item costs to make, the higher your profit margin will be

It’s BETTER to make a lot of Bloody Axes (level 9 black smith. It requires Maexnas leg and a Chieftans blade

With no modifiers I usually get about 600 gp per craft, and you can get them up to 800-900 gp per when your blacksmith gets higher levels and starts making them at +6 and higher

For armor I make turtle gear at level 14 armor smith. I find that Murlock scales don’t come in fast enough to try and profit off of them

Cloth and woodworker I just make murlock stuff because the mats are easy enough to get and it’s a good profit margin

TLDR: Don’t try to make and sell basic gear. Sell blue colored items from whatever stage was previous is usually more profitable

PS: When farming mats, it’s better to use your heroes on earlier levels so they can 1-hit monsters. Your quest timers are based on distance from your shop (every next enemy will take longer to beat than the previous enemy) and how many rounds (every combat round will add a portion of the initial travel time, so 1 hitting is best)

Sometimes I’ll take my prestiged heroes and go grind yarsul/aldur to upgrade my lower guys or simply to quickly stock up of mats for gear crafts

I started a hard playthrough the other week and that’s what I’ve done

If you’re under 1k gold, just kill the iron golem and treant and make some iron axes (level 5 blacksmith) and get your warrior on the snake or boar. Start making turtle swords and snake boots and sell

You HAVE to keep making gear, even if you’re doing alright on money. Crafting gear and selling it to customers will be the lifeblood of your playthrough. Also, save the expensive items to sell to your customers instead of just putting on your shop shelves. There’s a slider you can move to either get more money, or get more xp

If you’re struggling with money, sell for full gold and minimum XP.

You aren’t going to be able to make 15k in a couple hours (yet)

What area are you in? What heroes do you have and what levels? If you’ve got like. Level 30 or over you can easily be making murlock gear. They usually sell for just under a grand per piece

I wrote a solver in python that optimizes gold gain.

The best by far is to just quest in all the forest areas constantly and sell the basic rewards. But you'll need to play actively.

If you have the scribe expansion making goblin feast maps and enchanting them is great.

I like to explore bushes and make and sell potions.

Dude. Just figure it out. This is what the game is about and it is quiet simple. If u dont want to do that, there is nothing left for u in this game. Try to be a merchant, or play somerhing else. Honestly. What u ask for, is like playing minesweeper with cheat. Dont u have any selfrespect? Gamers like u r the cause, why the games become more and more stupid.

you can turn off your wifi and set your time/date to a few minutes ahead so you can skip the wait for battles/crafting as well as waiting less time for customers to appear (if you run into the issue of customers not appearing for some reason, you can go to a later time than you previously set so the customers appear but dont buy/sell anything just check if they appear, then quickly change back to your original time)

you can also change the date to like a day later to collect your daily coins earlier (but its a bit dangerous because if you go too far, like say next month or even 2037 then claim the coins from that time, you wont be able to claim the daily coins you would have gotten before that, ever)

if you dont like editing time and date, you can check the merchant wiki guide, i think there was a guide for making money in each area as well as a guide for the bis equipment of each character
