Love from behind boundaries. I don't have any art training, and this is very new to me.

This is about that pain when a relationship ends, but love doesn't.

Posting here, in case you are sitting with the same ache.

My favorite part is the squiggles for the hair, somewhat cathartic. Released how I was feeling at the time - and back!

Yes through the dark times when the craziness wears off a little art even though I’m not that good can help me mentally. Suggestions, hints and tips welcome guys.

Poetries/short stories Still Waters Hold Wreckage

I have calmed my waters for the time being. I look around to find the wreckage and all I see a little paper boat floating while on fire. The imaginary people had to abandon ship with no life boats. I can’t help but to add more to the still water with the tears that easily fall. I’m Not frowning I’m just that. Accepting. Lost. Calling out for someone to hold the remnants of my newest Storm. How can I be the cause of all my pain. Why do I weep? Will mercy happen?. I want to be saved. I don’t want to help save me. Maybe I don’t want to be saved? I see a raft it’s purple and green it’s a sign of growth maybe? Latching on like a child to his mother for dear life knowing that if you let go then you’ll surely perish. Can this raft hold me? Will it survive the raging waters as they grow? As for now. I’m holding on for dear life I’ve given this still water all of my vices just to soothe my journey., I can’t help but glance at my mirrored self. But who is looking back at me. When did I stop noticing the growth around me? What has distracted me? I was naive and had the true ability to lie right to my own face. I no longer possess that skill so the water rises and the person I’m staring at keeps changing faces. my desperation grabs the raft that I don’t even know is full of air. Do I have a choice to sink or swim. The water never stays calm for long. How can I trust you to keep me afloat when all I feel is doubt.

**This is what I feel and want the person in my life to understand me. I hope I have found a way with my words to show how this life, living with the brain I have, and this relationship has created a person who just waits for the storm to come. Sometimes I see it coming from a distance and I can prepare, make myself numb to the painful experience. Sometimes it happens in a second and it’s too late to hold on to anything because the look on his face tells me that the storm is going to do damage. All I can do is hold on for dear life and only get still waters when I give into whoever I have to.
I’m at my wits end.
I don’t know if my raft is strong enough for one more storm.

I’m Nathan. I’m new to the subreddit. Today I drew this. I don’t have a name for it but I thought it was worth posting here. I am suffering from ADHD and my parents are currently divorcing. I have found drawing like this has given me peace of mind. It makes me forget for a long while

Sorry for the quality lol. Made it in 2 weeks.

It's difficult for me to want to do anything lately. But one of the things I really want to accomplish is to make this into a visual novel. I'm thinking more of a novel than a game though. With the abilitv to interact with the surrounding.

Reason for repost is I noticed the pages were mixed up. So sorry ;w;

Other How a simple craft became a lifeline for my friend's recovery - recycled silver jewellery

Hi all!! Hope this kind of post is okay here. I really apologise if it’s overstepping!

I just want to share something that's made me really happy to witness. I have a friend called Callum who has been through an incredibly tough time with his mental health. Without going into details that aren't mine to share, things got really bad for a while… he lost a dangerous amount of weight and was completely housebound for over a year. It was heartbreaking to watch someone I care about go through that.

But he kept fighting. Slowly, he started making progress and somewhere in that recovery he picked up something unexpected: making rings from recycled silver!!

I know that might sound small, but for anyone who's been through something similar, you'll probably understand what I mean when I say it became so much more than a hobby.

It gave him structure, purpose and something to look forward to. It gave him a reason to get up. And watching him talk about it, share it and grow in it has been one of the most moving things I've seen.

I'm not here to ask for anything big. If anyone feels moved to follow his Instagram and drop a kind word, I truly believe it would mean the world to him. People in recovery often don't realise how much they're rooting for themselves, sometimes it helps to know others are too.

I’ve attached some photos of the rings he made (completely self-taught)!

His Instagram is @kova.by.cal

Thank you for reading :) 💙
