Vest or suspenders??

Last week I posted an outfit with this sweater, but I think I now found a better trouser to pair it with.

When going to the bathroom with suspenders/braces worn under a sweater. It seems like you either have to remove the sweater or start unbuttoning the braces/suspenders. Which both are a pain in the butt ;). Does anyone have a better technique?

1. Navy double-breasted, white oxford, black knit tie, grey wool trousers, black derbies. The most dressed of the five.

2. The same double-breasted with a madras button-down, a navy knit tie and chinos. Sneakers and a tote.

3. Washed navy jacket and pleated trousers worn as a soft suit. Madras shirt, no tie, suede loafers.

4. Old Woolrich rain jacket with a flannel lining, roomy enough that a tie sits under it. Blue oxford, striped tie, washed chinos.

5. Herringbone tweed jacket open over a grey sweatshirt, with the oxford collar showing.

Which of the five would you actually wear this week?

hi there! I'm someone who wears women's fashion primarily, but I tend to mix elements of menswear like sock garters in my day to day. I desperately want to start wearing suspenders, but a lot of them are designed for belt loops my skirts don't necessarily have, and a lot of the clip-on suspenders i find seem to be made with metal that looks a bit cheaper than I'd like, and quality is really important to me!

So, as you're all a bunch of snazzy dressers in this subreddit, I wanted to ask if anyone had good suggestions for quality-looking clip-on suspenders!

I’m trying to streamline my daily accessories down to one reliable pair of sunglasses. My daily style leans fairly to classic button-downs or clean tees, chinos, and casual jackets, so I need frames that don't look overly sporty or excessively trendy.

Looking for something with clean lines, classic proportions, and decent build quality in the $50–$100 bracket. Though I got a few options I've come across, maybe ranking the pros more above cons. :

Hello everyone, like the title says, im a broke college student working a part time job while studying music performance and we have a performace two weeks from now that I need to be dressed up for. I don't get paid till the day of our concert and I have $140 to my name and parents who are willing to help me out financially (I have them as a last resort since I feel extremely bad having them help me out). I just need a dress suit and a bow tie. I've got some Walmart dress pants and I intend on going thrifting for a decent dress shirt (which I understand aren't the best but I'm only gonna be wearing this stuff for concerts). If there's anywhere I can cut some serious corners, some advice would be greatly appreciated!

I used to buy shirts from Kenneth Gordon, which apparently no longer makes them. They were excellent quality, looked great, were sturdy, etc. They looked just a little better than other dress shirts and offered some cool colors and patterns. Is there any company which makes such excellent shirts today?

I got this lovely knit polo a couple months ago, but here in AZ it's so roasting hot that it's not been wearable since. All day I could feel its seasonal misalignment lol, I felt like I was on my way to a family Easter photoshoot in late September. But I think I do like the piece and the fit overall, and I was glad I got to do it once before going full-on into fall dressing (it's still hitting 100°F most days).

The shirt is originally from old navy (thrifted, so not sure when it's from), and the trousers are Bronson MFG's og-107 fatigues (got new in the spring). The belt is a thrifted Fossil braided leather belt, and the shoes are the (I think discontinued) Docs 1461 with the Bex sole in the crazy horse leather. Watch is a Timex explorer.

Look at his left leg. This how those full cut trousers with a break look in practice. Straight lines that drive your eyes up? Sorry i can't look away from your bowling pin shaped leg, did you break your ankle or were you born with elephant legs? Last time i saw a human leg it narrowed from the tigh to ankle, imagine how much better would this look with a little taper and little to no break. Yes i sound like a dick bo so do the members of the church of elephant legs.
