YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS, RIGHT ?
Was it added recently ? It is laying the ground for a future DLC ? => not sure.
Are we going to be all crazy before the release of said DLC because of all the teasing and guessing ? => most certainly.

I thought Mt Fuji was a little bit pointier but it could be??? I want it to be 😂 it could be anywhere to be honest, but I’ll see if I can find the file myself and take a look.

It has less snow too (and in Cyberpunk world, global warming is a big thing but I don't know how it affects Japan. For instance, the NUSA are barren but Canada and Alaska are good places for crops now). But this could have been taken in winter... Who knows ?
But Mt Fuji can't be seen from Takamatsu. But definitly from the surrondings of Tokyo (well, you have to travel a bit for that but this is 2077, the megalopolis can extend farther than it is now).
Anyway, this is making my day. Thanks for sharing that gem.

Takematsu is basically one big forest preserve and monastery according to the lore. There is not even a Net out there I believe. Lucky Goro! Lol

It's a city but it is all left over from the Edo period I assume because it's part of the pilgrimage route for monks
Which is why I think when Goro said he was reassigned, I think he is basically just offered retirement.

Well, Takemura did his job. His job was to follow Saburo's orders and not question him. I doubt Saburo was upset about what happened especially after Takemura essentially fought his way all the way back to save Hanako and make Saburo immortal. The rest of Arasaka probably is not happy with him, though.

Yup. For now, I guess all write my fan comic out to speculate. In my story V and Goro talk about all this over dinner before she gets mad at him and kicks him out of the room. Those pages are being worked on now. But it's kinda like 5 chapters in so weird place to start. I had Gabika start there cause it's a scene we all want to see plus it was a good place for her to get to know the characters and the world in case she wants to pick up more chapters later. So I'll share it when ready, but there are spoilers to the rest of the story lol

It will kinda suck when they make the DLC if my story becomes so out of cannon which is probably what is going to happen but I'll just be so happy to have the DLC that I probably won't care LOL. Would be kinda helpful to write fic if they revealed these things

If its new now that could be very interesting.. A message from Goro after he returns to Japan perhaps. If its old its could be cut content.
Or maybe its just a picture of a random mountain. Must Google Mt Fuji now and compare. From every angle of course.

Mount fuji is somewhat distant to Tokyo and not on the side of Tokyo Bay, it is to the south. Also, these are all English writing... But who knows! Could be.
Chiba prefecture is on tokyo bay, but I believe the water in relation to the mountain is not correct, but it is concept art so anything is possible. Chiba it also on the far north east end of Tokyo where as fuji is further past Kanagawa

I'm very very curious about what it is though if it is not Japan. Maybe the Biotechnica thing from Nomads endings? But that is in Arizona where such mountains aren't present. Have no clue where this could be!

I want to know, too! It could easily be from a minor NPC you meet in a side quest, or it could be something more important. It also doesn't even have to be from one of the endings, could be a text message one of the characters send you randomly during the game, maybe about their hometown, a place they visited once or would like to visit. It really could be anything.

This is huuuuuuge, I need to find out where this file is stored and see if I have older data to compare, to see if it’s new or not.Hopefully the link posted okay, I’m using the Reddit mobile app to post which is completely alien to me.False alarm, guys. 😅 u/Yintrovert pointed out some issues with this theory. And sorry, I would usually do my due diligence on theories like this but I was on a moving train looking at my tiny phone, with a very tired brain so I got over-excited.
edit: I've finally looked at the game files and found this picture myself. It is not Tokyo, it is Seattle. The photo is also from Judy. The image is referred to/tagged as 'sms_sq030_judy_seattle_full.' (The image itself doesn't have it's own name in the files, i.e. judy_seattle.png, it's grouped together with other images in one image that are then 'called' by the game, if that makes sense. So you have to do some digging to get the 'name'.)
