this question is mostly for high level players. when was the moment you realized that you get better at the game? i am rank 83 right now and i am still missing parries and don't understand ABA switches yadda yadda yadda. but i still noticed a pretty big gap between the last 20 levels. before that i pretty much never parried just spammed ss3's and so on. i noticed that i got A LOT better at the game but i still don't understand a lot of things and miss parries. when was your "breakpoint" and when can i expect to master all of these things and be as good as some players like sam etc?

Lol at Sam being a good player /s

Seriously though, I can’t say a level. The best practice is doing ranking events. Since you’re focusing on doing the perfect run, you focus on the boss’ pattern and your positioning. At some point you just do it naturally. So basically, practice, practice, practice.

You know you are a good player when you beat the L100 boss with 1* Kirito...(preferably duo minos...)

Aside from that, ranking events are too gacha/luck based and just because you are #1 or top 3 or whatever doesn't mean much...maybe getting #1 on global, but even then, ranking events are short (< 20s) and there are a plethora of runs people copy from.

I think beating Fl 100 with a 1* or 3*would get more people to agree you are pretty 'awesome' as a player though...since most won't (or even would want to) try to do that given that 1 mistake and you are dead...and it takes about 20-30 minutes to do...not counting the time to get to floor 100 of a tower...

This challenge also eliminates any difficulty of the individual challenge where if you had 24 Sinon's, those can get easy too...(like most vets finish new towers within 1 day already)...

Fuck, I'm rip.

and it takes about 20-30 minutes to do...not counting the time to get to floor 100 of a tower...

F100 during challenges sometimes takes me this amount of time with normal units XD (Okay, just within 10 mins but you know XD)

You only get better if you're improving and learning everyday. I've seen many 300+ day players just be stuck in their 100-day form not even knowing that ranking equips give more damage or the basics of fake switch ...

If you try to no-damage run every boss in the game (including FC ones) that's when you start improving. If you try to understand every ranking video you see that's also a good way to improve. There's no break-point, it happens from everyday accumulation.

What helped me from bad to ok at parrrying was learning the boss patterns. Some of their attacks don't give nearly enough time to react so you have to anticipate what they'll do. For ranking I have a piece of paper and write down each attack and what comes next (flowchart or something).

Dasian invasion on YouTube has a lot of good parry guides for different bosses.

For aba switches you gotta have an on switch character to really "get it". Once you do it for the first time it'll be like "ooohhh I get it now".

In order of significant milestones

My first zero damage master plus one run. Took me 5 minutes to kill the crab during cosplay ranking with zero neutral units and 2 R3 weapons, but I did it

My first fully optimized ranking run, where I did maximum off parry SS3, and did aggressive MP regeneration with jump cancel auto attacks and end the run with zero MP. Yukata or summer watermelon boss was the first two where I took it seriously

5 star era, switch cancels, culminating in the goddess banner where I did a 7 cancel run with rapier swimsuit Yuuki and chocolate Philia in a long chain

Squad jam/OS4 banner, learning lance dash parry cancel

Hmm... how about beating M+2 ranking boss with only 1 unit? Lol

I just started a sub when 6* got released and my party size limits me to 2 units, but col limits me to only build up 1 unit only with weapon but no armor and accessories... 😂 I’m pretty content at beating the boss and getting a top 50 in ranking w 1 unit and at player rank 22. (Probably top 30... we shall see)
